We've had a longstanding dream around this house for Britney's ultimate fall from grace and eventual redemption.
Project Britney Jean Vegas Queen has three simple steps.
1> In the words of Dan Savage, DTMFA. Divorce his ass, keep the money and kids. Get yourself put back together in one hot, sexy piece.
2> Pose for Playboy. You know, quasi-tastefully. Show off your post-preggers killer bod, demonstrate your ability to sell more copies of something (even if it's a magazine and not an album) than anyone in the world. Be the insanely beautiful, enticing guilty pleasure that made us love you in the first place.
3> Get your buddy George Maloof at The Palms to give you a long-term contract for a ridiculously over-the-top show, with dancers and crazy special effects and all the pre-recorded tracks in the world. Get a better mansion than Wayne Newton, work a couple years, make (even more) bank, establish yourself as the ultimate Queen of Vegas.
Here's the now-apparent problem with this plan: We just assumed that marrying K-Fed was hitting rock bottom. Britney, baby. You've practically broken the tabloid sites with your head-shaving, rehab-bouncing, late-night hysterics (seriously, it took about 10 minutes to get X17 to load today).
This is not how it was supposed to happen! Just a little drama and despair! Just a wee bit of lost girl acting out! Just a semi-permanent and drastic dye job! We're not supposed to be this worried for you!
Oh but we are, Britney, we are.
I am starting to wonder if everyone out there is wishing Britney to fall apart? I mean really give the lady a break. She recently had a second child while still over coming the hormones from her first son. Then she files for a divorce and she isn't given a moments peace to even chew gum. Has anyone thought that maybe she is suffering from Post Partum Depression. I mean she might be going through some serious hormonal changes after two children in such a short time and she is constantly being watched. I love Britney-and several people do. So keep your head up Britney and you'll find your way. Best wishes. Joelle
