I went and hired a special Paris Correspondent. He'll be sitting on the Paris Desk through this whole mess so that I don't accidentally stab myself out of stupid-by-proximity.

Raymond reports, via Huffington Post:

In a message that went up Monday on her MySpace page and reported in the New York Post, the hotel heiress writes (in her own spelling): "My friend Joshua started this petition, please help and sihn it. i LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!"

When not excoriating innocent commenters in Popnography, Raymond's a diligent writer, DJ and radical thinker. But even he has been pushed to a breaking point by Ms. Hilton:

For someone who believes in dismantling the entire prison-industrial complex...I totally hope Paris Hilton goes to jail. I'm kinda excited that it seems possible. I never believed Martha would actually go in either, but she did! I feel like Paris deserves it, in a way that I rarely think about people.

What are the chances, though, that she'll actually learn anything from being incarcerated? "It's not about learning," Raymond says. "It's about breaking her spirit."

I completely agree. I only wish she was going to jail for crimes of fashion, for stupid starlet feuding, for making Nicole Richie feel fat and dating men that unredeemable!
