Fast & Furious with
Brothers & Sisters creator Robbie Baitz
Robbie Baitz, the creator of ABC's Brothers & Sisters, is kind of an odd duck in Hollywood. He's a playwright and still seems to think like one. He's modest and self-deprecating and openly professes a huge amount of doubt as to whether he knows what he's doing here in TV land. And yet he's the voice behind an utterly compelling grown-up drama about a family that I'm guessing feels real and familiar in one way or another to everyone who's watched the show.

[Insert minor confusion between publicist and Robbie as to which interview he was giving next...]
Out: I write the blog Popnography for Out.com.
Robbie Baitz: Oh, I like that!
And we like you! What's the gayest thing you've ever done?
Watch my mother put on make-up when I was 7 and thought, I'm going to be a make-up artist.
What kind of guy does Kevin need to get over his issues?
An Oxford-educated Englishman who plays cricket and rugby and can lecture about poetry while performing neurosurgery.
Short of that -- what are the chances that Kevin's going to find a guy and be happy?
When I can find a guy and be happy, he will!
