When one thinks of Craigslist, the normal images that probably come to mind are apartments for rent, used Powerbooks, David Beckham-inspired hookups or even the occasional part-time retail or "acting" gig.
What normally does not come to mind would be a spell-challenged advert on behalf of certain well-known and very! straight! rap artists who are looking to hire a "girlfriend" for a "reality show."

You will have to act like you are his girlfriend for six months while he makes his album. they pay is $10,000 A month. you must be willing to move in with the rapper, no sex is invovled. [sic] The rapper is the first person signed to Shady/G-unit and this is how they fill they want to launch the artist. if you are interested please send a head shot or pic. please no phone calls at this time.
Eminem would be the obvious guess—after all, he is from Detroit and has well-documented commitment issues. (And, umm, has hired "girlfriends" before.) However, Slim Shady is hardly "upcoming" although his career probably needs a shot in the arm. Since we know this wouldn't be G Unit prez 50 Cent—he wouldn't waste money even trying to pretend he had a girlfriend, we all know his story—inquiring minds want to find this "upcoming rapper from Detroit."
Our friends at Oh No They Didn't have some ideas and report the newest signee to Shady/Gay Unit is upcoming rapper "Ca$his" and "he is trying "to create buzz for his full-length album coming out later this year." Make sure you look at this picture of the rapper, channeling Elton John in a hot pink hoodie and crushed velvet jacket. "No sex involved." Such a gentleman.
