Here at Popnography we're always happy to tell you what you should be watching, and you can bet I'll repeat myself a few times before fall TV premieres actually roll around.
I went to the Hollywood Forever cemetery tonight to catch a free sneak peek screening of Pushing Daisies, the new ABC show from Bryan Fuller. It's great. Like, really really great, in that way that I can tell you it's sort of a cross between two great indie flicks (Waitress and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang) and maybe describe it as a modern fairytale and even say it's full of smart and funny and talkative moments that scream queer sensibility while still being sweetly straight.
It's also dark and demented and just flat-out enjoyable in a way that nothing I say here will fully capture. So really -- you should just pay attention when in a month or so "Wednesdays this fall" turns into a real premiere date and I tell you how hot and funny Lee Pace is and all the other usual shallow excuses I dig out when I'm going for broke.
This is why sometimes not-so-cheap publicity stunts are worth their weight in gold. Not to mention the actual daisies that were distributed (with a tied-on tagline, see above) and the actual mini-apple pies handed out at the end.

Thanks for posting, as an East Coaster I was just not making it out there. But, I'm happy to say that I know the pilot word for word and shot for shot, I've seen the screener that many times and worship it more with each viewing!
Lee Pace, swooooooooooooooooooon!

I think it premieres at the beginning of October, if I recall correctly.
Lee Pace is gorgeous.
And it's got Kristin Chenoweth in it! How can you fail to love Kristin Chenoweth?
(Well, a lot of people do, but that's neither here nor there)
