From yesterday's New York Daily News, one more quote about Elton John's fundraiser:
The evening was emceed by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who said he was looking forward to Elton performing with k.d. lang.
"I offered to do some interpretive dance," said Cooper. "But after a brief audition, I was told my services wouldn't be required."
Turning serious, Cooper went on: "I talk to young gay friends in New York, and some of them seem to think the AIDS problem is a thing of the past. … The reality is that it's getting worse, not better."
Oh, Anderson. You're right. You're totally right.
It's so tough when young guys just don't get what it's like to be an old(er-ish) gay guy. How do you deal with all that pressure to tell them what it was like in the tough old days?

I'd like to be one of Coop's "gay friends." He's so smoking hot it hurts my eyes to look at him. He's been hitting the weights lately too - nice guns!
He can do a "360" on me any day.
