One more recap from the VMAs (otherwise known as: if I sat through this, so will you!).
MTV's on-demand broadband channel has all the footage and plenty that didn't make the cut on-air.
> Britney's performance, in case somehow you can't find it anywhere else on the internet.
> Sarah Silverman kicks Brit while she's down. I understand the inclination but it's still a little painful to watch.
> The super-fey dandied rockers from Panic! at the Disco get arrested by lady stripper cops. Were they being too gay? Also they sing their new song, which somehow MTV can't tell apart from the classic singalong by The Band.
> Fall Out Boy backs Rihanna for "Shut Up and Drive," and somehow it's both adorable and very, very funny.
> And then Alicia Keys, for reasons I truly do not understand, decides to sing George Michael's "Freedom." Is there just something that we've got to know? Is it time she tells us so? Is there something deep inside of her? Something else she's just got to be? (How in the world were there people still surprised, by the way, when he came out?)
Previously > Oops! She didn't! Again?

OMG! I missed the obvious connection between Keys and the song. I was mostly amazed at how much she's grown since last we saw her. she carries it well, but i think she could find some clothes that are friendlier.
