Here at Popnography we use any number of silly slang words and poofy phrases to modify just what kind of gays we're dishing or dissing.
But "flamboyant," the New York Post's adjective of choice, is beyond old-school -- and almost never even accurate, even in the schoolyard bully taunting way in which it's likely intended. As Out asks in its November issue, "Does anyone with a qualification in English really think Jim McGreevey is flamboyant?"
The answers to this and other burning questions about 10 of the most flaming and/or queer people with whom the Post has been obsessed with in the last year are, obviously, only able to be answered via a Venn diagram (remember those?).
Click on the image above to see the fine print and frown lines at full size. The issue is out mid-month, but believe me when I say there are so many more great, sexy and shocking things we'll be teasing you with before then...
