Over at Out.com we've got five questions with sex columnist and all-around troublemaker Dan Savage, who reveals a not-so-surprising trend towards oral fixation.
Here he is mugging with This American Life host Ira Glass, whose recent collection, The New Kings of Non-Fiction, includes Savage's essay "My Republican Journey," about becoming a delegate to the Washington State Republican convention.
Sound familiar? I thought so too, but it's actually not the same as Savage's piece about trying to infect all of Gary Bauer's staffers with the flu -- remember, he licked all the doorknobs with his gay germs and got sued for voter fraud?
This one was originally published in 1996 in The Stranger, the Seattle alt-weekly where Savage started off accepting kinky questions addressed to "Hey, faggot," and is now the editor, and he tells a similar story on this episode of Glass' show.
Despite the title, there's even at least one chick in the book, too. And despite how this may sound, I actually like it when people tell the same story over and over again.
Check out Dan's five questions at Out.com.
