> Onetime Idol contender Blake Lewis refuses to make a New Year's resolution outside Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Eve party, but he does debut a new catch phrase: "Titties in your mouth!" Even easier done than said, Blake! Come on, they don't bite!
> Panic! At the Disco debuts what may or may not be a song off their sophomore album, due out (finally!) in March. You can listen at their MySpace. They're still the same band, they promise, and if you live in Europe, where the band is playing a set of dates starting in late February, you'll be able to report back on that yourself. This and the other new songs they played at summer festivals are pretty groovy, and mixing the album off at Abbey Road can only be a good sign that the whole disc will be great. Just don't throw the gay stage show out with the bathwater, boys, please?
> Dolly Parton went all 9 to 5 and told the Man to go screw himself, starting her own record label and putting out her first album since 2005:
"I watched all the success being enjoyed by other artists, old and young, with all the new technology and all the different ways of marketing their product [and] I thought, "Well, I'm as good as I ever was if I was any good, so I'm going for it.' I put it on my own label because many of the majors really didn't want me, as I mentioned, because of age, thinking I was over. But I felt different about that. I figured major labels are pretty much a thing of the past anyway, kind of like they thought I was. The way music is being played today, why not make all the money if there's any money to be made. I'd rather have all of something than some of nothing."
She'll play club shows in LA, Chicago and New York before heading out for a bigger North American and European tour. Tickets will be available from DollyPartonMusic.net.

LOL so perfect on the Blake comment. I would call his bluff on that one in a hot second.
I'm still uncertain of my feelings re: the new Panic!
