In happier, less self-loathing news, Torchwood came back to US television on Saturday night! The second season only kicked off in the UK the week before, and in even more globe-shrinking related news, BBC shows will soon also appear on MySpaceTV.
Apparently, from the looks of this premiere, Torchwood wasn't queer enough. It was, it seems, lacking an opening sequence that involved a huge kiss-or-kill, kicking-and-punching make-out/action sequence between John Barrowman and guest star James Marsters. If that wasn't enough, there was a huge! flaming!! screen-saver on the flat-screen playing behind them.
AfterElton.com has a full recap here and here is, of course, the kissing part.
Not only that, but Captain Jack actually figured out how to ask a guy on a date. I almost wonder what will happen with this show (and its fans) if one day they swing in the direction of exploring Jack's amazing chemistry with Gwen, too...
