If you don't live in the UK and/or you're no good at figuring out how to use a combination of YouTube and other, uh, various software programs to download the shows you love, I'm sorry, this is totally going to be one big unfair tease.
But if you love good, smart shows about teenagers trying to find their place in the world, and you wish they could do so in a way that is totally queer without it being a Very Special Episode, you should be watching Skins. Don't get me wrong, I love American teen soaps, and Gossip Girl is rocking my world this year. But it looks like, well, child's play in comparison.
Here's the newly released trailer for the second season. It's not very safe for work.
(If you've got the bandwidth and nobody's looking over your shoulder, let me recommend this much higher-quality version over here.)
And here's the first season's promo reel, which is similarly full of, well, skin!
At one point, I'd heard that this was eventually going to air on BBC America, though I don't see it anywhere on their schedule. I'll go track that information down while you call your best geek girlfriend and ask her for other advice on how to see it.
Previously > Better than Beautiful Thing

Wow! I saw most of the nine episodes on YouTube and was floored by Skins. I am looking forward to season 2. It's on the E4 channel, not BBC. So, we may be left with YouTube. Of course, the one gay character gets one failed love scene. Hopefully, the trailer for season 2 hints at love or at least lust for the beautiful Maxie.

Skins (UK) = rolling papers (US)
Please find an English to American dictionary straight away. I beg you. You are making my keyboard bleed.
Series one (6 eps) and two (7 eps) airing as one "season" on BBCAmerica currently. Series 2 eps start September 21. 2008 on BBCAm.
One character survives into series 3 on E4 in the UK and it is not Maxie. Bugger. Consider this series a non-reality American version of MTV's Real World with vastly improved writing.
Cheers.
