I'm on my way out the door to see Mika play here in Los Angeles at the Wiltern.
Sadly, I can't take you all along with me -- though you can follow any must-Popnog-now updates at Twitter. Plus, I did sweet talk his people into offering up five copies of his live DVD, Live in Cartoon Motion.
Tell me your favorite Mika song (and why!) and we'll pick the cleverest quintet to receive their very own DVDs. Post your answer in comments or, if you're super shy, e-mail them in.

My fave Mika song is Big Girl You are Beautiful! I think the message in the song is something that is great for women. Hsving three younger sisters I want them to know they are perfect the way they are!

My favorite song from MIKA would have to be Lollipop because I like to interpret it as an act of oral sex. Also in the unedited version of the song the words "down right bore" is actually "down right WHORE". My friends don't believe me but he screamed WHORE in the concert and I basically died. Too much candy's going to rot your SOUL! =)

My favorite song from Mika is Grace Kelly. The first time I've heard him singing and I was hooked at once! The voice the melody the lyrics:
"Say what you want to satisfy yourself
But you only want what everybody else says you should want"

"Any Other World" is one of my favorites because I can be a morose type of fellow every now and then. And no matter how down and disheveled I feel, that string section, that backing choir and lyrics ("Smile like you mean it and let yourself let go.") help me to reign it in and keep it classy. "My face is no sad, but inside, I'm sad." Well, yeah, but you gotta keep it moving, baby.

I wake up every morning to Mika singing to me "Happy Ending." The song pulls me from the comforts of my bed and gets me ready for the world. Sometimes, I find myself anticipating the cd alarm clock set on track 12 to go off. On most days, I'm caught in the rhythm and start singing along. "Happy Ending" is always followed by the rest of the music on the Life in Cartoon Motion.
