Garrett Neff -- who I think is tied with Chad White around these offices for model most likely to be mentioned in a dewy-eyed, awestruck tone of voice -- proves the entire point of black & white photography in his most recent Out fashion spread.

A little insider secret: The Georgia O'Keeffe-inspired stark, skull and cactus-strewn shoot was actually done in Miami (every part of this sentence so far is ridiculously, awesomely ironic, no?). Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is to not believe everything you see -- except when you're convinced a model's steely, sultry stare means he's thinking of you and only you as he stares into the camera. That's one fantasy worth leaving unscathed.
