I have had Cabaret stuck in my head all day long. Three timely examples of the saying's eternal truth:

> Think those Staples jokes on The Office are hilarious? So do the show's bean counters, who have raked in some serious cash for integrating the store's name into several episode's plots.

> South Carolina has announced its intention stiff an ad agency hired to promote state tourism during gay pride week in London. Sadly it's unlikely that the agency will simply add the word NOT to the original slogan, "South Carolina is so gay." [Thanks R]

> Guns N' Roses (or the ashes thereof) will release its new single first, or exclusively, or possibly not at all, on Rock Band. This would be the hippest, most interesting thing Axl Rose has done in like 15 years. Therefore we have few expectation it will actually come to fruition.
