Which boy, exactly, did Gabe Saporta kiss? (Plus: Listen to "I Kissed a Boy" here!)

Until we hear otherwise, we're going to assume that Cobra Starship's "I Kissed a Boy" is actually singer Gabe Saporta's public spanking of Pete Wentz for saying he hadn't made out with a dude in a long time.

After reading that, Gabe told us, "I totally made out with Pete after he was 22!" And then he complained, pseudo-forlorn, "Was I really that bad?"

Pete blogged this about the song: "gabe claims 'i kissed a boy' is based on a true story, i was there. i plead the fifth but i cant wait to see the video for the song."

Maybe there's some good old-fashioned "depends on what is is" difference of opinion going on here about puckering up for the cameras (or a crowd of honeys in the club) vs. full-on make-out action. But we're still hoping there will be a video, and that it features any number of young rockers vying for each other's attention.

In the meantime, enjoy this clean copy of the song -- and by "clean" we mean un-mixtaped-up, not any less explicit. Or as explicit as a song about a dude kissing another dude can be -- Gabe still manages to make it sound pretty dirty.

I read somewhere that Gabe Saporta was making out with Katy Perry's BFF Markus Molinari. Markus has pictures of Gabe and him getting close on his myspace /MarkusMolinari .Pretty interesting . love your site btw
