Maybe it's his face, or maybe it's the fact that his face graces the cover of our November Tastemakers issue, but whatever it is -- we can't get enough James Franco.
And now, thanks to our near-crippling addiction to the Milk star, not only can you read his interview with the film's executive producer and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black at Out.com, but we've also just launched a gallery of stunning shots from the cover story snapped by Doug Inglish, including an exclusive web-only outtake.
Inglish, whose photography has also appeared in Details, Elle, and Russian Vogue, told Out that shooting Franco verged on love at first click. "We staged it at my home, and when James walked in and spotted a painting on my wall, we immediately connected over contemporary art," he said, citing artists Nigel Cooke and Catherine Opie -- featured in our September issue and whose exhibition, "Catherine Opie: American Photographer" runs until January 7 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York -- as mutual favorites. "James was an officer and a gentleman -- everyone loved him," Inglish added. Why are we not the least bit surprised?

Mark my words, James will be the next big thing in Hollywood...
