Yesterday was a way gay day. Three quick updates:
> People.com posted a few excerpts from the Clay Aiken cover story, including:
ON COMING OUT: "It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."
ON RAISING SON PARKER: "I have no idea if he'll be gay or straight. It's not something I'll have anything to do with, or that he'll have anything to do with. It's already probably up inside the code there ... No matter what the situation you're in, if you're raised in a loving environment, that's the most important thing."
The first quote definitely raises the question of just what he calls all those years he spent evading the truth about his sexuality. The second, though, almost gives us a little hope he's got his priorities, uh, straight. The issue officially hits stands on Friday (top newsstands in NY and LA will usually have it by Thursday). UPDATE: Or you can just read scans of the full story on Oh No They Didn't right now!
> Watch Chad Allen on General Hospital spinoff Night Shift:
And if you missed our Q&A with him, head over to Out.com.
> And, OK, there's not actually any significant update to the Lindsay Lohan/Sam Ronson duh-we're-dating quote that broke yesterday. I just wanted another chance to post their picture and say thanks for never really trying to hide at all.
