They say without knowing history you are doomed to repeat it, and we queers have more to risk than most. Mullets. Mustaches. 'Mo better blues in the form of bar raids and legal discrimination and -- oh, wait, that last one is still reality, not history.
Lucky for all of us, October is GLBT History Month, and we at Popnography are convinced it's possible to go back in time and learn from our best and worst moments -- all without ever feeling like we've been sentenced to weekend detention.
