> Harry Potter is all grown up: not only is Daniel Radcliffe spending a whole lot of time in the buff for his role in the Broadway play Equus, supposedly he's also writing steamy letters to his male co-star. Welt Online reports that the 19-year-old actor sent Lorenzo Pisonia several erotically-tinged notes on opening night to get him in the mood. "I've written some really, really deeply sexual things on some of the cards I've given him. But just to wind him up, you know," said Radcliffe. He goes on to say that if he were gay or a woman he'd marry Pisonia, remarking, "He's gorgeous, and he's a really cool bloke as well." You're young, Daniel -- there's no reason to be thinking about marriage already. Why don't you two start off slow with a bunch of wanton, mind-blowing backstage sex and then take it from there?
> Another Popnography favorite with marriage on the mind is Dan Savage. The sex advice columnist is committing himself -- and his snappy, sarcastic, no-nonsense suggestions -- to stopping Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative aimed at eradicating gay marriage in the state. Unlike Brad Pitt or director Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw who have donated megabucks to the defeating the proposition, Savage is hoping to drum up financial support by promising to answer a question from every person who pledges money to the cause. The six biggest donors will have their sex or relationship questions answered in the October 16 and 23 installments of Savage Love, and everyone who donates will receive a personal email response from Savage. For specific details on how to qualify click here and scroll down to the bottom of the column. Just think -- now you can help ensure gay marriage stays legal and find out if you should be worried about your boyfriend's obsession with nude pantyhose (for what it's worth we say yes! -- not because of the pantyhose themselves, but because nude is not a flattering color on anyone).
> We're pretty certain our piece on Miley Cyrus ousting the gays from Gay Days at Disneyland must have been picked up and posted on some teeny bopper Hannah Montana website, because we've been inundated with comments like "That fucking bitch! I bet Demi and Selena would never do that!" We'd like to welcome all you 13-year-olds by saying "Hello!" and "We love that you're pro-gay at such a young age!" and also maybe "Are your parents monitoring your Internet usage?" There has also been a lot of confusion over when exactly Miley is taking over Disneyland and whether or not it'll interrupt Gay Days. We've gotten a lot of "You had the wrong day! Do your research!" -- and we did! But sometimes -- especially in the world of gossip -- sources are conflicting or change from one day to the next. Still, we apologzie if we wronged any of you in any way with our Miley post. As it stands now, Miley's birthday party is on Sunday, October 5. Gay Days is for the entire weekend, but it seems that it's no longer being celebrated at Disneyland on the 5th because Miley's party is shutting the place down at 5 pm (instead of the usual midnight closing time). Instead, all of us gays are supposed to hang out at the California Adventure theme park, which will supposedly allow us to "enjoy the wonders of California, Disney style!" If that means a quaint little mock Folsom street fair and a "bars of West Hollywood" block, this might actually work out in our favor!
