Lindsay Lohan's piecemeal revelation and confirmation of her relationship with Samantha Ronson continues. Not counting the ambush attack Linds suffered on Loveline earlier this year when she was not-so-slyly coerced into discussing Sam, the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, on stands November 18, marks the first time Lindsay has chosen to go on the record about their life together.
In the interview, Lindsay says, "I think it's pretty obvious who I'm seeing. I think it's no shock to anyone that it's been going on for quite some time... She's a wonderful person and I love her very much." Still reticent to reveal too much about herself or her sexuality, Lindsay responded "maybe" when asked if she'd been with a girl before Sam or if she'd call herself bisexual (she said she doesn't consider herself a lesbian). "I don't want to classify myself," she says. "First of all, you never know what's going to happen -- tomorrow, in a month, a year from now, five years from now. I appreciate people, and it doesn't matter who they are, and I feel blessed to be able to feel comfortable enough with myself that I can say that."
Lindsay also tells the magazine that her family (minus her big ol' mess of a father Michael Lohan) has always been supportive of her relationship with Ronson. "Ali's [Lohan, Lindsay's younger sister] known Samantha for a really long time. And she's like, 'Whatever it is, I support you. I probably won't ever do what it is you're doing, but I'm happy for you,'" she said. "Ali's very mature. I've told her that it's okay to like a boy or a girl if you're comfortable with it and it's something you believe you want to do. And I told her not to be afraid of who she wants to be."
As far as what's up next for her, Lindsay says, "I have goals and I'm working to achieve them. I'm not hanging out with people who are out every night getting fucked up. And... I think that I'm happy." There's not really much more you can ask for. And we're happy for you. But we'll be even happier when we see you and Sam on the cover of Out. Call us!
