Was Rahm Emanuel one of those "gay until graduation" types?

So today's best post-election rumor is that President-Elect Barack Obama may appoint Rep. Rahm Emanuel to be his chief of staff. (UPDATE: He said yes.) Rahm, brother to super-agent Ari Emanuel, the inspiration for Entourage's Ari Gold, as played by Jeremy Piven, was already fictionalized himself, as the West Wing's Josh Lyman, as played by Brad Whitford. (There will be a quiz with this kind of awesome politics/Hollywood collision.)

Though I'm a little scared that Rahm might kill me in my sleep for making a gay-ish joke at his expense, please appreciate this most queer of facts about him from Defamer's guide:

5. He was encouraged to take ballet lessons as a boy, and he excelled at it so much, he eventually won a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet. He turned it down to attend Sarah Lawrence College.

Has anyone here (or anywhere) ever met anyone who went to Sarah Lawrence who didn't at one point or another have a little same-sex experimentation?

Okay, now I have to watch out for all Sarah Lawrence grads taking out their vengeance on me, not just Rahm. But I think this means I'm into the "anger" stage of Prop 8 grief?

This is a ridiculous post. It's homophobic AND sexist. Being in the arts, professionally, in NYC, I know that most professional male ballet dancers are, in fact, heterosexual. I know, that just blows your mind, right?

Do I think Rahm is gay? Well, my initial response was, 'he's gay!' - but that should have nothing to do with the fact that he was an excellent dancer. Baryshnikov is a notorious womanizer with several children from various women.

My Gaydar says, Yes, he's gay/bi. That he went to SLC only confirms. I have to agree Host comment regarding SLC, especially males, especially in early on, like '81 when he graduated. So what that he is, but I know many married men with children who are, and they are not OUT. Besides, it's genetic. The eyes another poster liked, give him away. Gay, gay, gay. Hooray. I totally agree. I went to Sarah Lawrence (graduated in '92), and the fact is many of the men that attend this University are bisexual or gay. I had a boyfriend in college who told me years later that he had been with a few men while in school. He's since married with kids etc. So is Rahm gay? Probably not. Is he 100% straight? Maybe not. Has he experimented with men? Probably so. I mean there is a reason cliches are cliches! Because most of the time they're true!

There is something in this Rahm cad that is rather uncomfortable -with not paying his full taxes, quite evasive with everything, and his close proximity with Obama set in motion weird happenings. This man is a power hungry and incredibly too influential- can breed absolute corruption of all sorts- morally,politically and financially.
