He may be ailing, broke, and just plain weird, but that's not to say Michael Jackson doesn't still have a few tricks up his glove. Namely: THRILLER: THE MUSICAL!
Broadway producer James Nederlander (not quite "Neverlander," just creepily similar) has reportedly acquired the rights for a stage adaptation of the best music video ever, which will feature songs not just from ''Thriller'' but from ''Off the Wall.'' And this won't be merely a vanity project; Jackson plans to have a part in "every aspect of the creative process." Consider us terrified.

I can't believe this is happening. Everything I ever lived for in the 80s and 90s is going down the drain. Does anybody realize what this musical will do for the ratings of MJ, his song, and the rest of his reputation?
