PETA's "getting naked is the best way to simultaneously protest animal cruelty, get a load of attention, and make people happy" campaign isn't limited to female celebrities. Like Battlestar Galactica's Jamie Barber who ditched his duds in February to raise awareness about the killing of bears, The Mentalist's Owain Yeoman is now casting his vote for vegetarianism by peeling off his shirt. Anyone else suddenly hungry for a salad?

Way back when, PETA started out as an interesting idea, but over the years it has evolved into a fringe group of loonies. They run around raiding labs where studies to fight HUMAN DISEASES are taking place, claiming that animal experimentation is wrong. Just how many maladies do they think would be curable nowadays, if animal experimentation hadn't taken place during drugs' research & developmente phases? Then they attempt to glamourize their actions with sexy ads like this one. The gullible send in cash and PETA continues on its merry way. Sorry, they get no sympathy from me.
