Likely Oscar nominee, 2007 Out 100 cover girl and erstwhile princess Anne Hathaway (pictured above) auctioned herself off for $12,000 at the Trevor Project's 11th annual Cracked Christmas event in Tinseltown Sunday. (Who knew you could have a date with a princess for 12 grand?! If only we could BE a princess for 12 grand.) The Rachel Getting Married star also presented Sigourney Weaver with the Trevor Life Award for defying stereotypes and bridging "the gap between the straight and LGBTQ communities." And Lifetime Networks received the Trevor Hope Award for producing groundbreaking queer flicks like What Makes a Family, The Truth About Jane and A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story, in addition to the upcoming Prayers for Bobby, starring Weaver.

 

There was also a silent auction, an actual-auction auction, a VIP dinner, a dessert after-party, the fresh–scrubbed, all-American cast of Spring Awakening, Wanda Sykes taking aim at Barack and Prop 8, the recently-evicted-from-Seattle-Grace Brooke Smith, Rumer Willis, Greek's Amber Stevens, Scrubs' Sarah Chalke, Twilight's Christian Serratos, Jennifer Coolidge, porn star Blake Riley, Selma Blair, Rachel Zoe, Leslie Jordan and Fantasia Barrino performing three songs -- including covers of "Purple Rain," which brought down the house -- and an a capella version of Willie Nelson's (well, Elvis Presley's, but, well, really, Willie Nelson's) "Always On My Mind" -- so there was really kinda something for everyone.

All proceeds went to benefit the Trevor Project, a help line for gay youth.

Scene: Clay Aiken at Rosie's Building Dreams for Kids

Clay Aiken, who before his daddy days was a regular on the Monday night Broadway benefit circuit, last night stopped by Building Dreams for Kids. The event raised funds for Rosie's Broadway Kids, a too-cute-for-words group that pairs pro thespians with public school young'uns who are aspiring yet tragically at-risk of missing their daily dose of arts education.

Despite Clay's awkward pose and gaunt demeanor, we're going to assume he's simply been burning the baby candle at both ends. The theater geeks at this site report he'll be joining Ms. O'Donnell for her Rosie Live variety special airing this Wednesday on NBC, though he's not listed in any official releases.

UPDATE: Annnnnd of course within minutes of my posting that NBC updated their promo site, which now includes Clay's name. So it's official, if you were deliberating whether to set your DVR.
