How I met my favorite sitcom

Speaking of television that makes me laugh my ass off, this summer I belatedly fell in love with How I Met Your Mother. I'm unimpressed with most modern sitcoms, but this show makes me full-on laugh until I'm about to fall off the couch. Monday's premiere had not one but two marquee-level guest stars -- Enrique Iglesias and Mandy Moore -- both of whom did a great job of playing off and against their actual images.

And I just have to say -- I mean this in absolute no way as an insult to Neil Patrick Harris' impeccable comic timing, truly. But his character, Barney, is so freaking obsessed with his best friend, Ted, that it's just, well. Kinda gay! I feel pretty confident it's supposed to be, though.

Best Barney comeback ever: "This is so going in my blog!!" (Also when he says "B to the W.")

I loved Enrique's recent appearance on Two and a Half Men. Can't wait to see him as Gael.

As far as Neil Patrick Harris goes, I think I'm in love with Barney. :)
